Vespa ET4 - cut off while riding and won't start again

Hi guys

Was riding my et4 125 leader last night doing about 30mph and suddenly engine cuts off. Feels electrical as it was like someone flicking a switch.

Once stopped, starter will spin but engine will not fire.

Checked all fuses (2 next to battery, 2 inside left knee pad ) they are all good. Fearing it's a blown ignition module?

Any ideas on how to diagnose further?

The ht lead eventually disintegrated on my old et4.

Thanks! Checked , firm in position. Will order a CDI box to try and check the HT lead as per previous post!

I have the little brother, ET2, and just went through something similar this month. The journey I took. If the ET4 has a fuel tap vacuum hose, check that.
