Riding and loving my first Vespa. Huge improvement with Bitubo shocks (front/rear) and new tires (City Grip 2s). Any recommend performance upgrades, ie custom exhaust, replacement carburetor, etc. I'm a bigger guy (240 lbs) speed tops out 56-58 mph on flat roads. Just wanted to see if I could get quicker off the line, or increase top end.
No flyscreen yet either. So fun cruising around town, been down a few YouTube rabbit holes on mods. Most say not to mess with stock ET4 since it runs great. Especially being 2001. Thx for any thoughts

I spent a fortune on my old 2002 (Leader) et4. The only thing that made a real difference was a Mallossi 190cc top end kit.

It was certainly waaay more fun but vibrated loads, eventually wrecked both my kick start and starter motor, ate roller weights and used more fuel.
