Thought of opening a thread dedicated to a very much MotoVespa - Madrid unique model range; the 75 cc.
It starts in ´67. Well a bit earlier with a change in the traffic laws about mopeds. To qualify as a moped the 49 cc. needs to have a functional set of pedals.
An unknown logic leads from this to the release of a 75 cc. model basic
ally the same as the 49 cc. scooter, the 1963 Vespa 50 VSSA. The model type is 08C and production starts spring ´67 with serial # 500 000.
This model is produced only for three years, ´67 -´69 in very low numbers. A few thousand in all.
Overlapping the last year is the release of a pre-primavera
75 U2 type PR 9 followed by the
Primavera 75 T3 PN 9 etc
75 PK Primavera PK 9
PK 75 S Electronic 3 56 C
PK 75 S Elestart 67 C
75 Junior (PK 75 S Electronic 3) PS 9 or 72C
75 XL 96 C
75 XL Elestart 104 C
75 FL 128 C
75 FL Elestart 127 C
Back to the archetype 08C the lack of detailed information is shining brightest.
Have a look at the Ficha Técnica (the ministery of traffic vehicle dumentation) below. NOTHING!!! Just weight, max load and bore x stroke
The otherwise very thorough German forum does not have any more nor does the commercial leaflet: https://wiki.germanscooterforum.de/index.php/Motovespa_75_(08C)
Fingers crossed this thread shines more light on this uniquely Spanish model range.
