Long story short, yesterday the power on my LX150 was cutting out every time I hit a bump in the road until I hit a big enough bump and it died.

When I checked for spark, I noticed the wire going from the spark plug cap looked chewed through. My problem now is that I am really struggling to find the other side of the severed wire or where it goes.

Thanks,
Zach

Thank you for the video, but I still can't find it. I could be blind or maybe the coil fell out?

I have a 2008 LX50. The sparkplug wire on it goes to the CDI unit, which is visible by removing the sparkplug access cover under the back of your feet. Looking in there, the CDI is mounted on the side panel on the right hand side. It's a black rectangular unit with two cables coming out of it - one for the sparkplug, the other to the magneto.

Thank y'all! I found it. Yes, it was under the spark plug access panel (the one with the screw not the tab)
