Owners manual for VLB states Champion L 86, but I fit the Pinasco 2 port barrel on my bike.

If you change the barrel what spark plug is required? It changes because it's a whole new head?

don't remember why, but I bought a Champion J8C months ago. Would that work?, Why would I have been steered to buy that?

According to google no, the NGK equivalent is NGK BM6A and Pinasco recommends B8HS

The closest plug I could get BR8HS has a resistor. Anyone run these in place of the B8HS?

You can run that so long as your spark plug cap doesn't have a resistor in it as well.
