If you get tubeless rims, get good ones. The set I have is either FA Italia or a knockoff thereof. One of my rims got torn apart by the tire machine. It was done at the tech program where I work. Newer machine that can accommodate a wheel that small and an experienced student.

I did one hub with longer studs. I never liked the nuts that are used with the rims. I chop the tops off so that the end of the stud pokes through it.

Back to the OP.
I'm happy with the results so far.
Ended up doing about 20 coats of primer, with sanding between.

Oh, sorry CaliJ. I didn't realize we were wasting your time! 🤣🤣

Bodywork takes a long time but worth it when done right. Glad you're digging into that scoot.

He's getting exactly as much value here as he's paying for! Razz emoticon

This. The results of your bodywork efforts are determined at least 90% by your prep work. Getting paint down smoothly isn't easy, but it's a piece of cake compared to getting everything prepped right beforehand.

Thanks for the support!
I'm really digging this and having fun.
Also, not rushing, just enjoying the process.
Probably spent 4 hours on this cowl.
Also, been spot sanding and prepping other parts.
Trying to anticipate a weekend 3-4 hour block when I activate the baby blue can and have everything laid out.

This photo is more clear. It's so smooth…

This has been established. To ask St. Chandler to intercede on your behalf, don't send up a prayer. Send up a rod. The testaments show us he only sends rods to God.

Thus, it is written. What everyone forgets is that Saints are frequently also martyrs.
