Facepalm emoticon

Regardless of taste, the styling of our Vespas is little or nothing short of art. Whether flowing sixties or more angualr eighties, it is wholly thought through.

WHY are so few seats fítting. And I do not mean fitting as in matching the bolt holes/locking mechanism but in befitting the lines.
Bar exceptions the seat sticks out at the front, the rear or at both ends.

Me personally I particularly lóve the sloping rear but imo most seats simply JAR Ok, I wholeheartedly agree that there is no discussing taste. Hence ´pet peeve´

fully agree, the best looking seat/frame combi is a wideframe model with round slope towards the back and a single saddle type seat.

Only double seat is can appreciate is the one on the GS150 since it at least conforms to the shape of the frame.

Most other seat tend to come over as an afterthought in the design...

There is a ´longtail´ sports seat for large frames which imo even better follows the rear slope. Logically it looks a bit large but it doés suit the lines.

An Italian (where else?) seat manufacturer; Italcast, has a line for the 50, Special, ET3 size frame.

Denfield made the absolutely the highest quality seat for a Vespa found in the German market GS150.

my pet peeve is the absolute garbage being made now in the market and people removing decent quality original seats for said garbage.
