If there is a topic about that, sorry. I didn't find it.

I have a 150 Super with PX200 engine and tank (with autolub). When riding with my wife in the back, the reserve doesn't work. Fuel don't go down to the carb. When I'm riding alone, everything is fine.

I have friends saying that it is normal. But it really is?

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks!

tell wife to loose some weight so it doesn't pinch the gas line.

The inference in the Gick joke... pull tank and route the fuel line correctly.

I wouldn't like to die so soon, so the Gick tip won't work for me.

As for the fuel line: I did that. Everything is fine when the fuel tap is on open position. The problem is only at the reserve.

Having a full tank of fuel and Wife on the back, the bike runs with fuel tap "On" but switched to "Reserve" it does not run? is that correct?

Yep.

But when I'm riding alone, the reserve works just fine.

I had similar on a tour to Spain. We were fully loaded with two people and luggage. We would get so far before the scooter would start stuttering as if fuel starved. Topping up with fuel did the trick and we had to do so every 50 miles or so, despite the tank appearing to be three quarters full.

I had fitted a sporty rear shock, but had not adjusted the pre-load to account for extra weight at the back. I think this may be the solution for you.

Thanks, I'll try that!
