Hi, I have a 2006 Piaggio Fly 150. The design of the seat that comes standard is awkward to sit on sense the back end flairs up forcing me to sit close to the front. All I need is a flat and comfortable seat to replace my current one with however I can't seem to locate one. Any one out there have any thoughts or suggestions on where to look for another seat?

See attached photo showing the design.

Thanks a bunch ~

You could possibly take it to an upholsterer and add some padding, or maybe use a seat cover with padding under, just some ideas.

I will second the recommendation for Cheeky Seats. They make high quality seat covers that are very durable. I have about 30K miles on the one for my GTS. They will do a custom design if you don't like what's listed on the site. I do recommend getting a cover that is padded from them.

To flatten out the hump without shaving the seat, I put an Air Hawk (or other inflatable seat pad) under the Cheeky Seats cover. Position the Air Hawk so that the rear edge of the pad meets the leading edge of the hump. It makes the seat super plush and pretty flat. They key to using an Air Hawk is to inflate it only enough so that you sink into it, almost bottoming out onto the original seat. You want it kinda squishy.

Here are some options from Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/s?k=motorcycle+inflatable+seat+pad&crid=3C2EVS79FHXIE&sprefix=motorcycle+indl%2Caps%2C144&ref=nb_sb_ss_sc_7_15
Cheeky Seats cover with Air Hawk pad underneath. With this combo, I can ride for many hours without discomfort.

I had a comfort issue with my Kymco seat. Limited my saddle time to 40mins!
I bought a seat from a same model wreck on ebay...in case i screwed up my reupholster project.
Bought correct seating foam (internet), spray glue, a yard of Sailrite 4-way stretch vinyl, in my choice of color and surface grip...used an electric knife and orbital sander -- stripped the used seat cover and built a comfortable seat over the used seat's foam.
Best solution at this point would have been visiting a auto seat shop for their pro application/stretching of my vinyl.

No such shop near me...so did it myself.
Result is a very comfy seat!
