Modern Vespa

I'm a New Zealander on the pension now and tight with my money but have decided that I'm not going to live forever so I might as well have a bit of fun with whatever time I do have left and I've wanted a 300 ever since I first saw one, but didn't want to spend all I've got to get one. They're about 12Gs for a new one here!
One I've got had 27,378kms for $7,500 but it didn't have either an owners manual or a record of its service history and not knowing how the last owner had ridden it and also for my own piece of mind, took it in early for its 30K service with a new belt & rollers, had the valves cleared and the oils changed but I couldn't get an Iridium plug, they just don't have them in NZ!
Which is because there have always been Vespa owners here who are tight with their money and wouldn't spend $53 for the "recommended plug" when they can get a cheaper one that does the job for $8.
I'm now on a new mission to get a racing exhaust and I started thinking that there's a lot more people living in your big country compared to our little one so maybe somebody knows somebody who's got a good used one they'd let go to help a fella out. Nothing ventured nothing gained eh?

Yup you're correct. My country - Australia - is bigger than NZ. But sorry, i don't know anyone selling a second hand sports exhaust; have you tried Gumtree or Marketplace?
