Are you wanting to ship it in parts and pieces because it will cost less money than shipping it assembled?

I shipped a 74 Rally as parts to a friend in Hawaii and it was doable but definitely not easy. The biggest hurdles are box size for the frame and the insane amount of bubble wrap needed for the whole process.

From USPS:
The maximum size for most mailpieces is 108 inches in combined length and girth. USPS Retail Ground pieces may measure up to 130 inches in combined length and girth (but will be charged oversized prices). Regardless of the size of the mailpiece, the maximum mailable weight of any mailpiece is 70 pounds.
We combined two wardrobe boxes with a lot of tape for the frame and it was exactly at the maximum size. For the rest of the parts, we separated them into boxes that kept under the weight limit. Not all post offices will accept the absolute largest box but I just kept trying until I found a receptive postal worker.

It also wasn't cheap but I think you are used to that in Hawaii! Going USPS even with all of the hassles was still cheaper than shipping.
