When a dealer hooks bike up to computer to get codes etc to see what is wrong if anything with the bike - If the ASR needs to be recalibrated - would that show up?

Why are you asking?

Because I was just telling someone who picked up their bike after a service to recalibrate because he said it felt sluggish........and he said that he thought it would be returned that way.......I disagreed, but just wanted to throw it out to the forum.

What work has been carried out by the workshop?

You can calibrate the ASR yourself. Instructions in the respective operating instructions and here in the forum/wiki.

the computer will only tell you if asr is not working at all.

If you or your dealer adjusts your tire pressures or the tire then you should recalibrate. (dealers tend to adjust pressure at service)

Just do it, it's quick and easy and there's no reason not to. (see user manual)

ASR calibration don't show in the diagnostic tools as need to be done following the procedure described in the owner manual and is not something "stationary" in the shop, is done riding the scooter
