Modern Vespa

In an attempt to make my HPE2 (flame suit on) key fob feel more substantial and also offer some protection for the inevitable impact [insert your favorite hard surface here], I came across this leather key fob protector case from The Tri-Posei leather shop in Taiwan. It was through Etsy. Having never purchased from that shop or through Etsy before, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of the product as well as the communication and quick service from Tri-Posei as a company.
Below are some pictures of what I received and how it arrived. All in all, a nice piece of kit for a very reasonable price. Leather tanned in Tuscany according to the included booklet.

Got the same one on AliEpress for a third of the price but no fancy box. Probably where they get it also.

Etsy really has gone downhill since allowing idiots to just lie and claim they made something they're reselling.

And if they didn't name the tannery their leather comes from, it was likely tanned in Dalian somewhere

Yes, the fob is too slippery and easily slides out of my pocket. I took the economical approach and made a fob cover out old bluejeans material. A few minutes on the sewing machine and voila. This gives it plenty of friction in my pocket so now it stays put.
