...a giant Ruckus-like scooter, fabricated from a body-stripped Suzuki Burgman 650, frame painted a bright yellow or red....or orange..or...whatever.

Fabricate a cool seat, hang a headlight, tailight, and a quad of turn signals on it someplace, and head out for parts unknown.

I had a perfect candidate for such a project about five years ago (seven perhaps?), when a guy offered to sell me a sorta trashed 2003 650 that he had in his shed for, I think, $500?

I did buy it, cleaned it up, sic'd a good mechanic on it to get it running, and run it did, surprisingly well in fact. I rode it for a couple months then sold it to a person in Omaha, Nebraska, where I'm sure it's still running around making someone happy.

But I COULD have done a Frankenbike conversion to it, and probably should have when the opportunity was still sitting in the garage.

Just imagine the possibilities!

I mentioned this in another post about a big ruckus - there is a lot of custom scoots based on the Honda Helix 250. As you said, the possibilities are endless, (until you wallet runs dry or you max a card) and there are some really talented people that pull this off.
