Due to rust repairs there are no holes for the chrome strips.I have a new set of correct screws via SIP.How do I proceed?

I did this on one side of my VNB.

*Make sure you shape/bend the rails to match the tunnel before you do anything

*Once shaped. Mark one of the interior holes with the rail taped in place.

* use a punch to center tap a divet for a small drill bit. Remove rail and drill the first hole. This is by far the most squirlly part. Make sure the drill bit is sharp and that you get a good bite so the drill doesn't walk.

* Place the rail back on and secure the one drilled hole with a small screw or pin. Mark and punch the next hole.

*Wet, lather, rinse, repeat.
