I am in Amsterdam on vacation and have never been anywhere where there are so many Vespas. I see them constantly everywhere as I explore on foot. More than any place I have been in Canada, the US, France, Spain, or even Italy. In Italy I have seen many vintage Vespas, but here it's all modern Vespas, everywhere. It's amazing.

A lot of them are restricted to ~25/30kph to allow them to be used on the bike lanes.

I've had a string of Vespas and just bought a Brompton. I'm loving it. Sometimes difficult to decide which one to ride.

IIRC there were a lot of 50ccs around in Amsterdam, pretty useful there, I'd gather.

I saw quite a few GTSs in Belgium and Germany. At least enough to keep my thrill levels up. It doesn't take much for us, does it?

When I went to Vienna in 2019, I saw a lot of GTS's. That trip got me thinking about getting one.

Good to see you as well.

I no longer own a Vespa. I work from home so no commuting. More infrequent rides felt more risky, particularly with the very heavy traffic in Toronto. Now my love of two-wheeled adventures is fulfilled by my amazing Brompton. I still love Vespas and they speak to me whenever I see them, seeing so many in Amsterdam I had to share.

I'm in Tomar Portugal and there's currently a GTS outside the hotel I'm in.

I saw a Vespa PK125 an hour ago but alas no topless young ladies as yet.
