Hey Guys,

Was my first time riding 2 up on my "new" 2004 ET2 today, and I noticed today that on some bumps the fuel warning light flashes on and off. It's just a split second, but noticeable. I'm def not low on fuel, fuel gauage is at 3/4 full and verified it in the tank as well I have adequate fuel.

Anyone else experience something similar and know if it's something to be concerned with?

Is the rear shock set for riding 2 up? I have found that shocks are usually still set at the lowest (lightest) setting which is the factory setting. Riding 2 up should be set at max. This can cause intermittent wire issues.

Could be the issue, as I didn't know the rear shock was adjustable (Forgive my noob-ness, I just got the ET2 like 2 weeks ago )

The OEM shocks on the ET2 aren't adjustable.
I'd be looking at the wiring and check the connections

Dude! Not to worry 'bout your "noob-ness!" I've been in and out of MV going on 14 years...but I ain't no kind of wrencher. While I understand the concepts, I'm just not talented in that area. Now, if you need a movie script written in a week or so, or if you need a radio commercial on air by tomorrow, I'm your guy.

But I'll (gratefully!) leave the drilling and things to them that's gots the talent!

Can you recommend any links / videos / guides / service manuals to purchase that can help me get to the necessary wiring? The low fuel light now stays permanently on when riding lol.
