Hi all,
firstly a hello as I just joined now. My partner has a 2009 GTV 250ie and yesterday as she was cruising on the freeway with 90km/h she experienced sudden power loss. The scooter could not go faster than 70km/h and the engine light also came on. My partner slowed down immediately and more or less "limped" home. This was only a few minutes from home. At home the engine light was still on and the fan was running continuously despite only being a 15 degree celsius day.
Any ideas what this could be?

I will check tonight after work. Will also check the battery voltage.
What's your thoughts?
