There are interesting little details in the auction photos, like the dish hubcaps stamped with the Piaggio shield. A familiar emblem that you don't usually expect to see on a four-wheeler.

And there's a seldom seen iteration of the Vespa script at the front and back of the car. The letters are much more generously spaced than typical. Nice!

Piaggio made airplanes before they made scooters or mini cars. They even made bombers.
