OP scottk Enthusiast mp3 500 Joined: UTC Posts: 64 Location: usa	UTC quote I have had my 2021 mp3 500 for a little over a year now and do not have any issues other than the angle of the handlebars causing wrist/thumb discomfort and as there seems to be no remedy for that oh well. I have read about the dreaded "notch" issue and wonder at the cause of this. Is it soft bearing materials? I don't recall hearing of this problem on other bikes.

The Mp3 is not unique nor special in this regard. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aFKa8maLZ8U The solution is to keep the steering bearings greased and if it ever develops it can be replaced albeit on the Mp3 is not an easy job.
