I have had my 2021 mp3 500 for a little over a year now and do not have any issues other than the angle of the handlebars causing wrist/thumb discomfort and as there seems to be no remedy for that oh well. I have read about the dreaded "notch" issue and wonder at the cause of this. Is it soft bearing materials? I don't recall hearing of this problem on other bikes.

All bikes can get the "Notch", its when the steering bearings develop severe track wear. The Mp3 is not unique nor special in this regard.

The solution is to keep the steering bearings greased and if it ever develops it can be replaced albeit on the Mp3 is not an easy job.
