So I caught this on clearance for $71. It has to be the ugliest helmet I've ever seen…..which pleases me.

I concede.

That is, without a doubt, THE ugliest helmet EVAR!...even though it does fall into the conceptual category.

However, it could be 'improved' by applying some bandages, bruises, and a few stitches...perhaps a couple of large scabs to top off the 'been used' look.

I believe it was an art project. The original versions were shaved heads, and I believe the artist actually made them. These I expect are probably rendered.

Also a little like the crazy gyroplane pilot in one of the Mad Max films...which is kinda the 'look' I wanted, though his is actual aviation headgear while mine is a 1938 US tanker helmet.
