Hey all,
First of all, I'm still working on the GTS250…ok?
And, yes, i have the Malaguti… and it RIPS.. for a 49cc.

I'm looking at a Biella 50. Its a Chinese 4-str 50… 103 miles on it.
(I can do a Honda 50)
I can get it for an off key, polyrhythmic song…but its not run for many years and the clutch might be frozen.
I'm not afraid to open up a motor, but do any of y'all have knowledge of parts, or any knowledge on these?
It's cute as heck!
Thanks!

I would advise against it, even if it was free.

Any original parts you might need are going to be nearly impossible to get. There will be zero manufacturer or dealer support for this scoot and the bike will become a source of enormous frustration.

Not running for several years with so few miles is a gigantic red flag. Carb is likely trashed. They stopped riding it because they couldn't keep it running

Now - if you plan to strip this bike and use the frame for the starting point of a fully custom build, then maybe take it.

Thanks for the feedback.
I've been internetting about it and i'm leaning towards a 'hard pass' for the same reasons you state.
I'm nervous about carb, clutch or any drive parts.
Yeah, i'll let it go.

I still need to do the GTS.
Anybody in DC area wanna help me yank the engine?
🙂
