Hopefully, I can post this YouTube link of my '20 GTS 300 making funny noises(?) when it's warm after a ride.

It's weird.

It's been doing this after shutting it down for a long time.

When I unscrew the gas cap it stops making noises.

Is this caused by a venting issue with the gas cap?

Vapor lock?

Maybe I could use it to freak out the neighborhood kids at Halloween by warming it up, then daring them to take candy from the pet carrier while it's doing it's scary sounds, though I suppose I would need to avoid meltable chocolates.

Yep, mine sounds like a whales mating call, even my dog notices the noise. Never tried on screw the gas cap.

I stopped because 'she' crapped out on me, not the other way around.

As soon as I go out there (the garage) and sort out it's problem, if I can, I'll be running around on it again. Another little barrier to riding it, or anything else, this time of year is the colder temperatures and sometimes shitty weather in general.

First order of business is to reset that ASR crap in the hope that it was the problem, as it would be the simplest and cheapest solution.

After that, it likely gets much more complicated.
