UPDATE: Purchased Helix today. Rode it 50 miles back to my house. Ran like a dream. Thanks for the help!

Does anyone know if Honda Helix clones, like the CF Moto Q-link, share the same maintenance/repair parts with the authentic Honda Helix? I'm going to check out an '86 Honda Helix this morning and I have a CF Moto dealer a few miles from my house. It would be nice to buy wear and tear parts like belts and filters locally if I can. Wish me luck. Thanks!

I guess this CF Moto dealer should be able to tell you.

I know I can do that, but I'm going to look at the scoot this morning before the CF Moto dealer opens. I need an answer before I go check out the bike in a couple of hours. Thanks!

Hi, new here but have been playing with Helix and clones for a while. From what I have found, almost all the parts on my CF Moto Fashion will work on my Helix. There are some subtle differences, like the Fashion has a vacuum fuel pump and the Helix has an electric one, Fashion has 1 inch bars and the Helix is 7/8", but mostly they are the same. However, I don't know if a CF Moto dealer will be able to supply parts for something that old. They haven't made those bikes since 2009, so that may be a no go. But Amazon and Aliexpress will usually come through and have whatever you need to keep these bikes going. Sometimes you just need to dig around a bit. Body panels are another matter, those are very hard to find and quite expensive so hopefully you don't need any of those.

Thank you so much! Gonna go check it out in a little bit. I hope she runs as good as she looks in the pic. Thanks again!

You will be able to find any maintenance parts for the Helix that you need. It is a bit of a cult bike with a huge following. Reliable as an anvil and the engine is so easy to work on - remove the seat and everything is there.

I haven't bought parts from them lately. I did stock up on brake pads and brake shoes years ago when CF Moto USA went all ATV. Now they have motorcycles again but scooters aren't in the lineup.
