The ugly chrome around the switches is gone

Yes, on the SuperSport, the switch panels are now matt black. On Classic and Super it remains in chrome.

But that doesn't help anyone in Germany... There are other driving licenses required in Germany/Europe for up to 125cc and over 125cc...

GTS 125 Euro 5+ is 200€ more expensive than the previous Euro 5 version (Non-binding recommended price). For the SuperSport with matt black switch elements, it's worth the extra charge...

Is matt black faster than chrome at the price

Summary:

The 125cc i-Get engine now meets the Euro 5+ emissions standard required for Europe from 2025. The technical performance data (PS/KW, torque remain unchanged, more than 15PS would not be permitted for this driving license category anyway).

GTS Classic 125 and GTS Super 125 remain unchanged visually and in the familiar colors.

The GTS SuperSport 125 is still available in five colors, but the orange Impulsivo has been replaced by Blue Eclettico A19 (familiar from the Sprint MY2024). The switch covers are now matt black (instead of chrome), new decorative stickers on the side, mudguard and rims and the seat has a different cover (the shape remains unchanged).

There is no information yet on the Vespa GTS SuperTech 125, but it is due to come to Europe later in 2024.

Yes, and that black sure easier to paint over than the chromed.
I was thinking putting a tape over chrome but already numb signal-switch surely becomes even vorse with tape under...and finding a dragon red tape somewhere! 7000e! Ha, here in Finland it was 9000e
