Hi there!
Bought a non-running, but ran when parked Cosa 200 this week. It has been off the road for about two years now and came from a Vespa and Ape enthousiast.
Overall it is in pretty good condition but needs some work. Plan is to get it running first and see what i'm working with then.
I may go for a full restauration incl. respray but may also stick to getting the technical stuff sorted.

It doesn't look like you could possibly need to respray that - it's in good shape!

Looks fine, og color with mats and spoiler in great shape. From the looks of it, it's a Cosa II, probably single shift cable. Don't respray it. Clean the carb, fuel system, service the braking system (hydraulic, combined braking, notorious for its problems) and ride it. Cosas will be future classics despite people not liking them…

Paint is certainly okay, but less perfect than in the picture. Front mudguard has a pretty large chip missing and the left side cover (which houses the spare wheel) has a lot, i mean a lot of scratches. But maybe it will clean up if i give it a good clean and polish.
