Got a Rally 200 and it came with this exhaust. It's a right hand side. Can anyone shed some light on it? What brand, specs, even what does it say in the ad?

Pitone Turbo is an early 'expansion' chamber style exhaust. Old school scooterboy(&girl!) style! Late 70's-80's style. If you're going old school period build, this is a classic; otherwise there are plenty of better performing options out now.

We used Pitone pipes in the '80s, mainly because there was very little else available, and we thought the loud noise meant better performance

so when this Pitone was the shit, did the Sito plus exist yet? trying to make a mental scooterboy technology timeline in my head... I was unaware of scooters back in the 80's but I wish I had had a clue. I wanted a Honda Spree, there was no mod scene in my corner of suburbia.

I've got an 80s Pinasco righty sitting in the garage.
Flat bottom and hole rubbed between j bend and expansion chamber. Chrome tip, no silencers back then. At least I think it's a Pinasco. |

I've been reliably informed by a mate who has had Rally 200's since the 80's that the Pitone Box Exhaust is the one to have.
