Both front and rear turn signals on the right suddenly stopped working. The left sided front and rear turn signals work fine.

My 2012 stella 4T is similar to the layout of a PX 150.

Does this symptom indicate to any of you that this is a specific problem with wiring in a certain area of my bike?

Debating whether to fish around in there, take it to the shop, or resign myself to using hand signals.

thanks

That's often the sign of a burned out bulb.

The flasher needs current flowing through it to make it heat up and cause a piece of heat sensitive metal to bend and break contact until it cools down again.

If one of the bulbs is burned out there isn't enough current to activate it.

thank you for your reply!
I tried replacing the bulbs from the right with the working bulbs from the left and there was no change... do you think it might be wiring in that case?

I'd look at the turn signal switch. I've seen the Stella wires just break off at the connector for no reason other than low quality wiring.

Thank you! I will take a look..

Despite no lights, the turn signal is still making the loud beeping sound it normally does when I turn on either the right or left indicator.

the beeper sits in parallel from the regulator/rectifier to the turn signal switch.

I've attached a wiring diagram for the 2t Stella, which I'm going to guess is close enough for your purposes. Look at the single pink wire up at the turn signal switch. That's where I'm guessing it's failed.

how would one...access the wires that are featured in the middle of the bike? Do I have to take out the fuel tank or something? Never gone in there before myself.

They're under the horn cast, the plastic section that runs down the center of the leg shield.

There are screws in the glovebox and under the logo on the leg shield.

On my 2008 Stella 2t, a lot of connections are in the headset, but I think the pink wire does have a connector behind the horn cast. A lot of my wiring problems were found in the wires running through the handle bar tubes. They tend to get damaged from the moving shift and throttle tubes as well as from turning the front wheel.

Yeah, on my Stella, I had wires break in the run from the headset down to under the horncast, break inside the shift tube, or just break off at the switches.
