Hello all, I was going to reply to an existing post but it told me it was 10 years old so I thought I'd do a new one of my own. Hope this is ok.
I have a GTS 250ie 2016 vintage, I've not ran the steed for a good few months and today I went to start it and all I got was it turning over but not firing, I noticed I didn't hear the pump prime on turning the key.
I've had a look round, proved I have 12v appear on the pump plug connection on the loom on turning the key, so have concluded my pump had give up the ghost.
The tank was run low so perhaps I have sealed its fate 😂
Before I splash out on a new pump ( I'm fairly sure it's the original pump) I thought I'd ask for your opinion. Scoot has 16k on it now.
Any opinion would be most welcome. 👍

I think you know the answer to your question, I'll pitch in vote #2 for the fuel pump. Have a read through these: GTS 250 Fuel Pump Replacement

Double check with a dealer with your VIN as you may be eligible for a free replacement under recall.

Thanks all, I'll pop by a dealership with my VIN number and ask the question. That would be a result if so.

I am 2.5 into ownership, but the first year I had to get TWO fuel pumps which means I had a total of 3 (third time is a charm) in my bike.....first one failed at 600 miles.......second one failed at around 6000 miles......I am now at 12,000 miles and have not have had any other issues.......

It sounds like you're due for another fuel pump failure right about now?
