I'm currently restoring a 1962 Douglas Vespa Sportique and need some rubber bushes for the engine swing arm. The bolt tube is continuous from LHS to RHS.

Looking for a bit of advice on where I might source these from as none of the obvious suppliers in the UK can help. SIP suggest their bushes - closest match to the original bushes dimensions - will not be a good fit.

Any help on what has been successfully used in the past, please?

First thing to check is if you really have a Bristol-built Vespa. You can't just go by the V5 document as DVLA have been wrongly registering all sorts of Vespas (including LMLs) as Douglas for years. Best to check the VIN on one of the online sites or post a pic of what you've got on here.

Regarding the engine mount, many of the replacements come in two separate halves for ease of installation.

Thanks for your response Norman. My original Brown Log book from 1962 shows it as a Douglas.

I am cautious of using the two piece mount to avoid squeezing my old tired body.
