Hi,the colour code under the seat on my 2023 125 Sprint is B42. I want to colour code a top box I bought cheap but even the Paint Shops cannot find this code. The Shop scanned the paintwork and the nearest match is Suzuki Z2E. Can anyone help please?.

I think you'll find that flybynight was being helpful, the colour was on the link they posted

welcome to MV by the way

Not really,Montebiabco -544 doest exist, however Bianco Luna White does. I'll contact The manufacturers and ask for the info on the B42 code B42 supplied with the scooter.

I don't know what you meant by that. But flybynight's post is certainly helpful.

You clearly have the special Justin Bieber model of the Vespa Sprint. As this has only sold moderately, some dealers have de-badged it and sold it with different colored stickers or as a white edition.

The basic color is the classic white that Vespa uses on many models. The color was called:
White Innocente BR 544
White Innocenza BR 544
White Montebianco / Monte Bianco BR 544
White Luna BR 544
White Fusion BR 544

The number "544" at the end is always decisive.

Thanks for the info. I'm still trying to work out why they would put B42 as the official colour code under the seat?.

Please post a picture from that Sticker.

I'm not sure how it is for non-European *littesmile* Vespa, on the vehicles for Europe there is a sticker with a QR code under the seat/pet carrier, if you scan the QR code you get the color designation.

Alternatively, you can enter the VIN on https://www.vespa.com/en_EN/recall-campaign/, where you will often also find the color designation in addition to any recalls.

Trust me, i have seen the Justin Bieber side by side to the "normal" white 544 (eg. in Primavera, GTS) it is the same (even when the color is called B42)!

A little tip: find out about the disadvantages of a floor mat. You'll find plenty of information here in the forum.

Based on https://www.vespa.com/es_ES/accesorios/accesorios/baules-y-maletas/baul-32l-vespa-blanco-b04b42-justin-bieber-1b010540/
B04 and B42 are identical. B04 is the current designation of the color white "white innocente B04" (i.e. 544 became B04, but this is still 100% identical).

Even with a correct code your paint shop might not have formulas for Vespa colors. Spectrophotometer scan works very well though, maybe better than code.

This was the case with the Taormina Orange on my S150. If you're doing DIY, key for professional results is catalyzed 2K clearcoat. Another tip is to do a sample first to verify match before you paint the whole article.

I'll go back to the Paint shop and ask them about White Innocente, either in it's B04/B42 or 544 code...
If all fails there the Suzuki Z2E Colour will be decent enough for a Back Box.

Halfords were always my go-to for matching Piaggio/Vespa colours for rattle cans and touch-up pens. If they can't find Piaggio/vespa, get them to look for Vespa/Piaggio - yes, I know...

Give it a few good coats as topboxes tend to get bashed into things, how do I know

Wouldn't it be easier to order the top case in the matching color?

Why didn't Piaggio think of that?

Still reckon the link I posted to SIP should be right paint (if it's a Bieber)

Is this just for the Primavera? Are you talking about the VIN sticker?
I'm asking, because my orange impulsivo keyless 300 has no colour code. It just says colour: arancio on the VIN sticker and the QR code only contains the VIN and a date.
