Am I too late to get my 2010 GTS 250's fuel pump replaced under the recall? I would really appreciate your help.

You may be right about Australia. My scooter is not included.
The original Vespa fuel pump part is very expensive! Are there any feasible alternatives, like Chinese? |

You just need to replace the pump motor itself. Here in the USA you can buy a Kemso pump motor on eBay for about $40 new. Replacing is not hard but getting the pump assembly out is as you have to remove the tank

You don't tell us where in Australia you are located. Assuming that you have a Piaggio/Vespa dealer in your area, I believe they can look up your VIN through their system.
It also appears that Australia has a vehicle recall system. I do not know, however, how similar this list is to recalls in the US or other countries. https://www.vehiclerecalls.gov.au/ |

I strongly recommend calling a dealer or piaggio australia (check their website for phone(
the piaggio's recall website says the vin for my old gts does not have a recall yet when the fuel pump failed my dealer checked and it was covered by the recall so he replaced it for free (the invoice get's sent to piaggio). PS, I'm in australia - the experience for the recall websites may be different in other countries |

Ya, ride to your dealer, walk in with your registration to the service manager. He'll set you up. Plus, any excuse to look at new Vespas is a good excuse.
