No, just a typo.
A Freudian slip is when you mean one thing but say your mother.

S'mores are waaay overrated. The chocolate never actually melts and graham crackers are just kind of meh. At some point someone thought by adding honey to sawdust they could sell them as a food product.
They are difficult and messy to eat and the ROI just isn't there. They're worse than bone in chicken wings. Another hot take, but a fair comparison.

Finding appropriate sticks for the marshmallows. Whittling the sticks so they are appropriately pointy with your trusty pocketknife. Roasting the marshmallows and (in all likelihood) setting them on fire. Eating hot marshmallows (!) and assembling them into goopy sweet graham sandwiches. Together. Honestly, I prefer almost anything else on the fire over s'mores. Last night we had a fire in the chiminea on the patio, roasted hot dogs and listened to the Moody Blues. I enjoyed the company of the fam, a Bells Big Hearted Ale and the sunset after a very busy weekend. We even followed the suggestion of a friend and tried making the s'mores with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups instead of just chocolate. I didn't like them any better. Next time it will be hobo pies instead, for sure.
FIRE!

Okay, okay. I used celery in a beef barley soup this weekend. Was it necessary? Maybe not, but it was a nice contrast to the other ingredients.

But why I'm REALLY here ...
Anyone, unless you are physically disabled, who drives around without removing the several inches of snow from your entire vehicle, you are an inconsiderate jack hole. Oh, and to the guy who held up traffic turning left from a parking lot in a right turn only lane and then blocked traffic actually using the left turn lane for what it was intended, you also are a jack hole. |
