Modern Vespa

I just picked up a 2016 MP3 500ie - I also have a 2009 GTS 250ie.

I would like to install the seger horn on the MP3 - based on my experience with the GTS I am wondering how much of the bike I have to remove before I can get to the OEM horn, unplug it and install the horn.

Seems to me they might try to design something that doesn't' require complete disassembly of the bike to swap out a horn.

Also the gas access panel does not open without some persuading. Would that be a fuse issue or something with the cable that requires complete disassembly of the bike as well? Might as well address all the issues while it is dismantled.

Regarding the gas panel not opening:

The panel release cable from the ignition switch might need the end clip adjusted at the compartment after assuring the cable is actually moving. If this isn't working then you can easily pop the panel by inserting the ignition key into the panel edge and giving it a twist.
