My carb isn't sucking any gas from the line when I go to start it could it be a gummed up carb?

I had a similar issue on a different model.
The fuel tap has a small diaphragm inside that pumps to the carb based on engine pulse pressure through the carb.
If that diaphragm fails.. it wont pump.
Mine is a 2stroke 50 but i see the fuel tap looks the same on the Fly.
Could that be the issue?
Assuming you have spark…
Spray starter fluid or gas into the carb.. or into the spark plug hole (and replace plug) and see if it starts. If it starts, then flow to or through the carb is the issue.
Just offering suggestions…and yours may be different.

It's likely a cracked vacuum hose or a broken petcock.
