The manual states H1 for my 2008, I've seen people discussing these bulbs and writing H7 all the time...
Was there a bulb change Piaggio did somewhere down the track or are people missinformed?

I've never heard of or seen a H17 bulb

H7 bulbs were used starting with the 3rd gen MP3

Are lamps for Euro spec bikes different from USA bikes?

Just checking parts lists and it looks like too me that the company changes lights at least four times on the MP3 500. 2016 on use H7, 2014-2015 used a one piece headlight it, appears with integrated lamps (I may be wrong on this but individual lamps are not listed for these years) 2011-2013 shows a H1 lamp. Before 2011 it appears they used a H8. These are for USA bikes might be different for non USA machines. https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/en

Your is a 2008 MP3 400, right? If is correct, use 2 x H1. Newest models use H7.

Seems to have fairly good whitness, last long and affordable. I was looking at their more expensive dito "laser" instead of silver but they doesn't seem to last that long...
