My wife's LX immobilizer code blinks once then twice after then the light stays on. Trying to diagnose what it could be. Anyone have immobilizer code knowledge they want to share? Txs

So the antenna isn't picking up the RFID chip inside the key. Either the antenna has become dislodged, the connection from it to the ECU is dirty, or the wires are broken.

I appreciate this info Jim. I went ahead and bought a new antenna with wire. The old one isn't broken but with the scooter being 18 years old and the part costing $39 I figured just replace it.

Jim, I just replaced the antenna and it still doesn't want to start and I'm getting the same codes. Is there a way to test the ECU? Thanks

Have you tried another key or the master key?

Hey Greasy! we're the original owners so we tried the master key. I also tried cleaning the key we normally use and still nothing.
