it was a really pleasant ride - in the high 60's with a fun bit of wind!

Reminds me, a few years back, one of the guys on our annual ride weekend had his ignition wire coming loose at the bottom. He decided he could ride the scooter home, but had to push it back a couple of times, which involved lying on the ground next to the scooter. He was doing that at one point and a nurse happened to be driving past and came running over to him ready to resuscitate.

If I could get a star for the amount of times I have stopped to jump start cars bikes scoots and used my toolkit and puncture repair kit on them, I should get a lifetime membership in the reserved place in the after life. and only ever used on my own bike to tighten a mirror
