Just as a heads up, i just saw that Trail Tech is currently having a 50% off everything sale (including the lil' TTO gauges). Though TT's gauges aren't as cool looking at SIP's digital speedos, they are arguably 100% more reliable and 1000% easier to set up and program…on the first try.

Thanks for the heads up and the link. At least they are now at or just below what I paid apparently over five years ago. I have a couple old ones that died and I want to replace one, and I was mildly disappointed to find out that there's no way to replace the dang battery.

From their current website, now I finally know and will toss out the dead ones:
Quote:
BATTERY: The internal battery is NOT replaceable! Ultra-low power design of the product ensures a lifetime of 5+ years. Complete epoxy encapsulation provides the best weather and anti-vibration resistance for the harshest applications.

Can anyone say from experience how long of an extension is needed to mount one of those TTO tachs on top of the glovebox on a PX/Stella?

Thanks.

Pretty close to your arm's wingspan. I can't remember if i used a 4' or 6' with mine. It's been a while, but i think that the 4' was pushing it and the 6' was more than enough?

Thanks. Went with the 70" option. Instructions say it can be shortened if necessary.

Rather than shorten it, i'd just make smaller loops and zip tie them up. Just in case of whatever..
