if one calculates the gains in %s it is directly applicable to any modern 4stroke Vespa model

That's expensive horsepower.
The OEM Sport Exhaust is the same Arrow exhaust as the Polini, but with a more expensive sticker, so they should perform about the same. |

There is no indication of this in the video. But since all the tests were carried out with the same vehicle, consider the following: Once the update has been installed, it is not so easy to remove it again... Meaning: either the original Vespa sports exhaust was tested last (in which case an update could have been made). If the original Vespa sports exhaust was not the last to be tested, then a possible update would also be installed for all following tests. Or the update was not carried out at all.
I would assume that the new mapping has not been installed. |

Indeed Motovista
A cylinder kit, camshaft, ecu ánd variator together cost less It is just that it is easy, visible, audible and ´me too´must have/do. For the performance it is simply not vfm. Different weather conditions have more effect. As to the weight advantage, that can be achieved a lót cheaper All in all a matter of personal taste/preference and, I am sorry to observe, not much else. The removal of the dB thing was |

There was a time when adding fancy exhausts made a significant difference. Now days, for the average guy, you are pretty much adding an expensive noisemaker.

The, highly informative, thread about fitting a 185 Malossi kit on a 946 already pointed firmly at it but this is with a base line of the OEM system. |

As such I think any measured performance differences should be seen as within the standard deviation of the lot. It is marginal anyway. One aspect I have not seen mentioned is that even a bit better flowing exhaust system has a marked (cooler) effect on the operating temperature. |
