I just purchased a 2019 Vespa 300 GTS scooter from my neighbor.
It was for his sons, they bought it brand new.

Well in typical fashion the kid got into trouble so for punishment his father took the keys away.
Well the son being a boy tried to hot wire it, he tried to take the knee cover off (which were torx bits which the son didn't have so he just tore it all apart) and he ripped the wires out of the back of the ignition switch trying to hot wire it. It didn't work, so he just rolled it down the street and left it in the woods for about a month.

I got a new ignition key for it (sync'd to the ECU) but now is the BIG problem.

There are the four wires that connect to the back of the ignition switch (blue, red, grey, orange). Does anyone know what color wire goes to what number on the switch.

Or does anyone know of someone that knows anything about these?
I've called MANY Vespa dealers, they all said they need to have it in their shop.

I went online and found some schematics BUT they don't list what color wire goes to what pin number on the switch.
I guess I could just start connecting wires but I don't feel like causing more damage or burning it up.

Is that the pre-HPE engine? I'm assuming so.

Here's the wiring which does have colour names

Thank you for the quick response and schematic.
I'm looking at the diagram but I'm not seeing the ignition switch (unless its called connector A, B, or C).
Sorry if it is in plain sight, I just got out of a tough day at work.
Thanks again

Look for "Key Switch Contacts". The Italian to English translation of the colours is at the top right.

THANK YOU.
I got it wired BUT it won't start.
I put a new spark plug in it and verified spark.
I took the injector out and cycled it, it DOES push gas out BUT it is NOT a fine mist, more like a single stream shooting out about 18 inches.

so from I can tell it is plugged pretty good, I tried to clean it but no luck.
I verified the engine runs by spraying starting fluid in the injector hole (since I had it out) and it runs perfect until the spray wears off.

Does anyone have a contact for a new injector, everyone I call is 9 to 12 months out?

Thanks again for all your help.

Check around for a local auto shop that does fuel injector service. They have a fixture that your injector can be cleaned in. I did this for an old Like 200i and it was about $15 to have the injector serviced.

If you believe it us the injector ( rare) , you could buy a generic replacement for $15 and give it a try. If it still doesn't work, assume the original injector is fine and move on

We hace SUCCESS.
I found a video by ROBOT that shows how to clean the injector. It was definitely plugged, fuel would come out in a small stream not a fine mist.
I cleaned the injector and BANG, she fired right off.

Thanks for all the help guys, its very much appreciated.

P.S.
Boy these things are fast
