No, not THAT green....this green, or perhaps more properly referred to as 'Teal'.
The 2025 Royal Enfield Classic 650 has re-ignited my interest in the brand after I had given up on them based on my last experience with a Classic 350, which I absolutely loved for this model's eye-candy retro styling, chrome and metallic bronze finish, and thumper engine...but I was SO disappointed in the lack of practical performance from that 20 hp (in a 430 pound bike, mind you) engine that I reluctantly let it go after only a few months.
I was sad.
Then, in a very welcome stroke of marketing genius, RE recently squeezed their 47 hp 650 twin into a very similar 'Classic' chassis, and I can now have that great-looking '350' in a form that can actually go down a highway or interstate without ending up in the grill of a Peterbilt.
Having owned two other RE 650's over the past several years (and a 50O Classic),, I know that their 650 twin is, although definitely not a rocket ship powerhouse (I have my '22 Rocket 3R for that category), but is a very pleasant, refined, and enjoyable motor for this model, is easily home- maintained, and can handle 90% of my Black Hills region riding requirements...and then some.
This color definitely isn't for everyone, and the bike is also offered in a very nice black/chrome version (among several other tasty finishs) but being a lover of color on my machines, and a fan of the 'unusual', I would very likely choose the green model, just to be different.
IF I buy one of these Classic RE 650's, I will add the passenger pillion, maybe a set of lower bars with bar end mirrors, probably not whitewall tires, though it's a possibility.
