It started fine earlier in the day then it struggled to turn over . Now the electronic start makes a clicking noise and that's it. 2003 piaggio 150cc

It did this once before and all of the sudden started right up again. What's happening with the starter?

Either your battery is discharged or there's a loose connection between the battery, starter relay or starter.

Check your battery volts! A cheap $10 multimeter can be found at Harbor Freight etc.

So I recently replaced the battery and it started immediately everytime for about a 2 weeks. All the lights seem to be bright.

Where would I find the wires to the relay and starter?
I feel vibrations through the wires and hear clicking but that's

So it's been OK for two weeks with a new battery, but now just clicks? Sounds like the battery isn't charging - OR there's an intermittent bad connection, as above.

Thank you so much for your help. I tried to jump it as well. And it won't jump start either. Just a click sound.

I'm just having a problem finding a diagram to locate these wires

I'm not sure of size or particular kind of relay. I can feel something moving through it. Is there an actual name for the part?

It's the starter relay - not the normal 40A relay, but an 80/90A relay, with 3/8" (10mm) legs in the high current path rather than the usual 1/4".

However, although the contacts may be so dirty they won't carry the high inrush current, they normally would then fuse together, and the starter would run all the time.

So it might be a corroded relay socket connection, but going by the age of the scooter it's more likely to be worn brushes in the starter motor.

Manuals here: https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Piaggio/LT150/

Many Piaggio/Vespa bikes have the same basic engine and electrics.

As suspected as possible, corroded connections!

I'd use this - but are you happy with making high current connections?

Piaggio 150cc 2003 it was running fine after replacing relay. Now it just cranks but won't turn over. Any ideas?

Illogical...

You mean it turns over but won't start.
