Greetings, this may well be my first post here though I have spent countless hours browsing your posts and educating myself, and would really appreciate your suggestions and expertise. I have performed several searches but don't seem to find any posts that specifically address this question.

I just inherited a very neglected '05 GT200 that is currently undergoing a paint job and as I look toward the reassembly, I am seriously considering the LED turn signals/running light sets I see on fleabay however I understand a separate LED compatible flasher relay must be spliced in for this kit to work.
Can someone please confirm which wire at the CDI I need to splice the relay into, and where to draw power from?

You can probably leave the stock flasher and install resistors at the turn signals.
Best of all it's a $10 solution.

Use the much clearer circuit diagram at:
https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Vespa/GT125%20GT200%20Euro2/

If you really want to splice a new flasher relay in (sometimes inevitable as the regulator one fails) it's the blue/black wire going to the turn signal switch that needs to be cut and an LED-compatible flasher installed.

Me, I'd just buy a couple of load resistors, one for each side (you don't need four).

Thank you both for taking the time to answer my question !

I tested out resistor equipped LED blinkers and they are super bright and work well however I am still contemplating the kit as I like the idea of running lights.

Just to confirm, I should splice into blue/black going to the switch and not the dark blue at the CDI as per color diagram I attached?

On the hot wire right before the socket. For each signal.

That wire in your diagram is clearly shown as blue/black - zoom into it!

Yes, slice into that, then the new flasher unit just takes the place of the signal from regulator.
