Last night 11/15/2024 someone stole my pearl white 1965 Vespa VBC. The idiot likely had issues starting it and found the right cowl on the street just down the way.

The bike has a Swedish decal on the front right leg shield and missing the Vespa insignia on the back but has it on the front. A little scraped on the front fender but loved this bike. I rode the same bike when I was 16 back in the 80's.

If anyone has seen it, likely in golden hills, south or north park. Please let me know.

This jerk has no idea what he took and how much it means to me.

Thanks for any help from a very tight community. If you have one, you know what it means.

I'm sure we'll all keep an eye out - and you'd best post in Not So Modern as well.

Good luck with this.

That really is a shame. Hope you get it back. I use Apple Airtag's I hide in the Vespa's I bought this holder for them that blends in well and holds them in place. Good to have if the Vespa gets stolen it makes it easier to find it.

Thanks for the replies and really hope to recover it. I wish i would have thought about the AirTag, but hindsight is always 20:20, even at my age:-)

The thief may not have got the bike started and just walked it away. Might be worth having a look around your area.
I hope you get it back.

That, and check places someone could wheel a scooter so they would have time to get it hotwired. I can't picture your usual run of the mill moped thief being able to figure out how a Vespa shifty works, so it might have been pushed out of the way and left there.
It would be money well spent to hire someone with a drone to overfly the area and see if it's in someone's backyard or carport too. I got my Silverwing back by doing that.
