My vespa 90 had a Pk100s engine in, while it was running perfect there was a oil leak and gear selector arm was wobbly (potential bushing worn and o ring missing). However I noticed my intake manifold has a smaller inlet where air can bypass the carb, is this an intended design or should I seal it. Further anyone have any advice on removing the one piece engine silent block (not two separate pieces on both sides but one single bushing). Lots of questions but thanks.
There should not be a hole in there. Looks like a nipple for autolube which smallframes should not have. If there is a hole, blank it off or possibly change the whole sketchy looking intake manifold.
Removing the rear shock silent block only takes piece of adequately sized pipe, washers and allthread to pull it out.
