Well done that man. Congratulations Bill, great work supporting your friend who does the organising. 🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵🛵 . . .
From 2010 until around 2018, I led almost every ride, including a 2000 mile Natchez Trace ride that took the place of the 2012 Scooter Cannonball Run for seven club members (we were kicked out of the Cannonball by an overly ambitious organizer that year).
It is interesting to see other scooter clubs plan maybe five rides per year, while we ride constantly.
The regularly scheduled rides include a dinner ride on Tuesdays, a morning, breakfast/lunch ride on Thursdays and a longer lunch ride on Sundays.
Sunday rides are for breakfast during the hot summer months, but longer when it cools down.
Every ride has between 4 and 20 riders.
I led the ride this past Sunday to the Florida Cafe in Micanopy, around 80 miles from Jacksonville along one of the better routes available in the area.
The club members come and go, but several have been riding for many years.
The new members have added significantly to my enjoyment in the rides, as we get together for the restaurant dining, always with something to discuss.
I miss many too rides traveling or with work, but join in whenever I can.
Russ said I have ridden in 80 rides so far this year.
