Without the engine running the indicators function correctly . With the engine running, after about 20s the indicators stop working. Switch the engine off. They start working again.
I have checked and the voltage regulator seems to function correctly - 13.8v with engine running.
Any suggestions?

check the main ground for corrosion and good contact.
