Does anyone know if a 2009 Sportcity Cube 250ie Air Box will fit\or is a crossover part that will fit a 2009 BV 250. I think the motors are the same but I am not sure if the CVT cases are the same or if the case bolt locations are the same.

My theory is if the case bolt are the same, then the BV 250 will fit but I may have some fabrication for connecting the intake.

I own the 09 SC Cube 250 and there is an air box from the 09 BV 250 that I can buy but I am not sure if i will fit.

I had a friend who cut his air cleaner to the basic throat and tie clamp a sport sock over the intake. Poor man's K&N

you can compare part numbers by looking them up on AF1racing website.

having owned a sport city, mp3 500 and having a friend that had a BV 250 they all had the same looking airbox using the same filter.

I do believe it will work

I do have a used mp3 500 airbox here in knoxville area I will let go if your interested.

Thank you for the replies. I have a new problem that has put the brakes on scooter repairs. I have to work out an issue with the title of my Sportcity Cube 250. I was not smart and bought one without the title thinking there wouldn't be much of an issue to get a title. I was very wrong. However, I have applied for the title and in about a month or two I will find out if I am going to be able to obtain the title.

Thanks for the offer to sell the air box. I need to circle back around to that after I get a title. I have not idea what a fair price is but let's put a pin in that conversation for now.

Once I get the title worked out, I would like to ask for more help. The tires are old and I am told City Grip 2 are the ones to get. I also, read a discussion about OEM drive belts and other less expensive ones. I am thinking the OEM one is the safer one to get.

AF1 Racing website was very helpful. The scooter wasn't taken care of and I need to do all the scheduled maintenance. It will need a lot of parts to bring the scooter back to life and be safe. Thank you for bring that site to my attention.

Merry Christmas and have a great New Year.

just thought about it and I also have a 2nd set of rims from my sport city. makes it really easy to have a set mounted and then just swap them. also might have some new brake pads laying around have to go out to the garage and have a root thru my spares.
