Hello again all,

Another thing came to mind here. During the summer I made a couple of changes to the px and now the steering feels weird. The problem is that once the handlebar goes past a certain point, it pulls like it wants to go to full lock. This was a bit scary- pretty sure it isn't supposed to do that.

here's what changed:

tyres- changed from continental to Michelin. The profile is a bit squarer. (continental white walls, michelin something 82?) I know I should be more specific. sorry.

I put a spacer on the rear shock. I went from the original shocks to a new set of yss shocks, but the basic models - nothing fancy. After the scoot was sitting low on the back so I took the spacer off the old shock and put it on the back. So now it sits more level. But I have the steering issue. I didn't seem to have it when I was riding low at the back.

I've a feeling the suspension is not set up correctly. I've tried to make it look like some pictures of. p125x that I have, but would be happy to hear any more technical guidance on suspension set up.

thanks for your patience in reading and interpreting this post. I'm on my sofa and my dog is sleeping on me sonu can't get to the garage to check details right now. I also think I may have a repetitive strain injury to my thumbs from scrolling through vespa content :-/

cheers guys happy holidays

I don't know if you are experiencing the same thing I felt riding my friend's Rally 200. You don't normally steer when going around a curve but his bike felt like it wanted to oversteer on its own. He has never mentioned this as a problem and has been riding motorcycles all his life. None of my scooters has ever felt this way.

Hey Moto,

this sounds similar to what I'm experiencing. I basically have to be on guard turning as past one point it really pushes for the oversteer.
